The roadbed for the track has been laid.  This part went quicker than I thought. I used a foam roadbed product by Woodland Scenics .  The roadbed comes perforated down the middle so it can be split in half if desired.  I split the roadbed pieces so it would be easier to line up with the track center lines I drew on the plywood.  I cut the pieces to size to ft the location if needed.  I applied Elmer’s glue to the bottom of a piece and placed it on the plywood following the track centerline.  I was easily able to get the roadbed to follow curves.  For turnout locations, I had to cut the roadbed in odd angles to get it to form the turnout shape.
